Welcome to Season 2025
Victoria Park Xavier Hockey Club welcomes hockey players and families of all ages and abilities. Our Junior girls and boys teams range from Kindergarten to Year 11/12’s, and our Senior teams range from Masters Senior Metro Grass teams, Turf grades and all the way up to Premier 1, 2 and 3 teams - we have a place for everyone!
Early Bird Discounts for 2025
Register for Seniors & Juniors before 28 February 2025 to save 17% on 2025 club fees.
Register for Sub-Juniors (Minkey & Grads) before 31 March 2025 to save up to 50% on 2025 club fees.
Club Fees 2025
Unfortunately due to a significant increase in HockeyWA participation levies (average 35% increase) and affiliation fees (6% increase), we had to increase club fees for the 2025 season. However this has been capped at 5% for most membership categories if you register as an early bird. The fee will be higher post the early bird period to account for penalties incurred by the club for the late lodgement of teams into the league. Please note Club fees do not include the Hockey Australia levy, any gate/turf fees or umpiring costs.
Hookin2Hockey, Junior and Seniors Hockey Australia Levy 2025
Hockey Australia has increased levies this year for all Senior and Junior registrations. There has been no change to the Hookin2Hockey sub-junior levy. This increase is outside of the control of VPXHC. An explanation of the HA levy and fee information can be found here:

Volunteering
The success of our club continues to be driven by our volunteers. We require all playing members to volunteer for a minimum of two hours at a scheduled club commitment, sit on a committee or manage a team etc. throughout the season.
This year the Australian Sports Federation has partnered with RevSport to allow the club to accept tax-deductible donations. This is a screen towards the end of your registration process. Where a member cannot volunteer, we request in lieu of not volunteering you provide a monetary donation to the club at registration to cover the cost of your non-attendance. Where no donation is received, and no volunteering is undertaken, the club will proceed to issue a $100 levy invoice during the season to cover this cost. Parents will only need to volunteer for a maximum of two children in the same family.
For those available to help, simply proceed to answer the volunteering questions. We will be in contact closer to the season to allocate you to a volunteer role of your preference where possible. If you have any specific questions regarding volunteering, please reach out to Jessica Dunn at operations@vicparkpanthers.com.au.
We thank all our volunteers for the support they provide to the club - it's appreciated more than you know!
Payment Plans
Club fees are required to be paid up front at registration, however payment plans are available for senior registrations made
before 17 March 2025, and junior (excluding sub-juniors) registrations made
before 14 April 2025.
Those unable to pay upfront should register using either ‘Payment Plan – Juniors’ or ‘Payment Plan – Seniors’ as appropriate, and proceed to answer the survey questions. Payment plans will be available for 8 fortnightly instalments, or 4 monthly instalments with the first payment due immediately. Contact Kate at
treasurer@vicparkpanthers.com.au if you have any specific questions regarding a payment plan.
Any late instalments on payment plans at 30 June 2025 (excluding instalments due post 30 June 2025) may result in players being ineligible for team selection. The Club is all about playing and enjoying hockey so this will only be a last resort if no efforts have been made to remain financial with the club.

As per prior seasons, the club has discount codes available to the following playing members:
- Year 13s
- Goal-Keepers
- Life Members
- Current and Former AIS representatives
- Coaches
- Social Event and Social Media Coordinators

Please reach out to the following Exec/Committee members for further detail on the above opportunities and to receive your discount code PRIOR to registration:
KidSport
Victoria Park Xavier Hockey Club is an approved KidSport club. KidSport enables eligible children to participate in community sport by offering financial assistance of up to $500 per financial year towards club fees. To find out if your child is eligible for this funding, please visit the KidSport page on the DLGSC website. If your KidSport voucher is approved, you will receive an email with a unique validation code for the voucher. This must be sent to
treasurer@vicparkpanthers.com.au to enable the club to claim the money from the Council.
Casual Player
If you can only play casually, the club offers a 5 game membership with the ability to continue paying per game after 5-games, or upgrade to a full season.
Juniors playing regular Seniors
The Club encourages Juniors to play Seniors hockey. If Juniors know they will be playing seniors at the time of registration, please ensure this 'add-on' is selected at registration. Those unsure of senior game time will be invoiced during the season when the player becomes a regular player - which the club considers to be 8 or more games.
Refunds
Requests for refunds must be made to the Treasurer in writing, and will be considered according to the circumstances. The club is under no obligation to grant refunds of any fees.
Donations & Sponsorship
Looking for a potential tax deduction? A great way to help the club out is to donate or become a sponsor.
Donations
In 2025, the Australian Sports Foundation has partnered with RevSport to allow our club to accept tax-deductible donations. As part of the registration process, members with the ability to donate will be able to complete the donation add-on and receive a tax deduction.
Sponsorship
It's now time to register!
Important
If you played at another Hockey WA club last season and are registering with Vic Park Panthers this season, please use Returning Member as the system considers you as returning to the Hockey WA competition.
If you are joining Vic Park Panthers from another club, your registration will be paused while clearances from your previous club and Hockey WA are granted. This make take a few days as it requires club officials to approve.
If you receive an error message preventing you from proceeding with the renewal of your membership, please contact Stuart Lamont at
secretary@vicparkpanthers.com.au
Note: The total amount on the final payment page includes a card fee of 2.0% + $1.60 charged by RevSport, this is not controllable by the Victoria Park Xavier Hockey Club.
